Trollforsen

Trollforsen is a beautiful stretch of rapids that also forms Trollholmen by splitting the rapids. The islet is almost four kilometers long and at most 700 meters wide. On both sides, Trollholmen is surrounded by rushing rapids. The southern arm has, in several places, cut deeply and formed ravines. A series of rapids and falls form a mighty step fall here. The forests on both sides of the river are old, including 4-500 year-old pines.
