Dog sledding

A dog sled is a sled pulled by dogs, usually 2 to 18 dogs, and is a way to travel on snow. The sled usually holds two to four people, and dog sled tours come in varying lengths, from shorter half-day tours to longer expeditions. It is a beautiful and quiet way to travel through the snow and into nature. The dogs always bark before the start because they are eager to set off on the tour.

The most common dog breeds used in a dog sled are Alaskan husky and Siberian husky, which are bred for hard work, but Greenland dogs are also present.
